The Annual Community Prayer Breakfast is sponsored by the Early Risers Kiwanis club. This event began in 1995 by Worthington City Mayor, Robert Demuth, Sr. He invited area city mayors to join him with the opportunity to meet and learn from each other. Therefore, it changed and became an annual event of the local community coming together.
